“Nahyan bin Mubarak inaugurates Women’s Summit in Peace and Security”
Al Bayan writes:
“HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance, inaugurated the Women’s Summit in the field of international security and safety this morning, organized by TRENDS Research & Advisory in cooperation with the General Women’s Union under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
Sheikh Nahyan said that Sheikha Fatima is a source of pride to all of us and to the world for her achievements and initiatives for the advancement and empowerment of women, the latest of which was the launch of the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Family Award.
On the occasion of the launch of the Summit, Umm Al-Emarat called for the commitment of society and the world to achieve full equality between men and women and to provide women with the opportunity to work for peace and security without discrimination or threat.”
