“Launch of the “Women, Peace and Security” summit in Abu Dhabi”
Al Ain News writes:
“The summit is being organized by the General Women’s Union in cooperation with TRENDS Research and Advisory in Abu Dhabi, the Washington-based Women In International Security (WIIS) and UN Women, under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
Noura Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Women’s Union, said the summit will address the most important issue of empowering women to promote international peace and security and highlighting the UAE’s pioneering role in reducing the gender gap in all walks of life.”
