TRENDS Research and Advisory, in co-operation with the Department of War Studies, King’s College, London, UK, organized a one day event to discuss the Changing Character of Modern War.  The event brought experts from King’s College along with local experts to discuss the involvement of non-state actors in the many conflicts currently ongoing in the Middle East region.  The keynote speech was delivered by Professor Theo Farrell, Professor of War in the Modern World and Head of the Department of War Studies.
